Michael Collins Tours
The Michael Collins Centre offers two types of tours: the Michael Collins Tour and the War of Independence Tour. Please note that these are private tours of sites in West Cork and mid-Cork associated with Collins and are not tours of the Centre.
Michael Collins Tour
The Michael Collins Tour is a private tour using transport (coach or car) provided by the visitors. With Tim Crowley, co-founder of the Michael Collins Centre, you will visit the following West Cork sites associated with Collins: Clonakilty town, St Mary’s Cemetery (Clonakilty), Collins’ birthplace at Woodfield, Sam’s Cross, Lisavaird village and the Béal na Blá ambush site.
Running time: 3.5–4 hours.
Michael Collins Tour runs all year by appointment.
